Background
Enabel in Uganda is implementing a 5-year portfolio on Social Protection and Decent Work ensuring a sustainable improvement of the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations in Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This will be achieved through investing in social protection systems and decent work in order to promote sustainable, inclusive, and socioeconomic development.
Within this this context, Enabel is seeking to recruit 1 (ONE) National Junior Assistant; a young professional to grow their experience in Monitoring and Evaluation working with the Social Protection project.
Eligibility: This position is open to only Ugandan nationals.
Roles and Responsibilities
• You assist in the organisation of the project’s knowledge management plan in order to ensure appropriate data collection tools are used and lessons learn are capitalised and disseminated;
• You support in the promotion of a results oriented culture and support in the emphasis that management and development of results is a shared responsibility;
• You take initiatives that raise awareness of the Junior programme in the areas of innovation and capacity building.
Your profile
Required qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Sociology, International Relations, Communication and Public relations, Journalism, Development Studies, and ICT;
Required experience
• A minimum of 3 months’ professional experience and maximum 2 years and NOT MORE in collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and database management.
Required skills and knowledge
• Good analytical and synthesis and communication skills;
• Good organisational skills
• Sense of responsibility and initiative
• Flexibility and willingness to learn.
