Job Details:
The Agency for Cooperation in Research and Development – Uganda (ACORD -U) has had operations in Uganda since 1979. Currently, ACORD-U operates in more than 43 Districts across the country with thematic focus on; Health, Livelihoods, Climate change, WASH, IWRM, Research and Peace Building. ACORD-U is implementing the USAID OVC West Central Activity. The Activity goal is to attain improved well-being of children and youth through comprehensive interventions that enhance sustainable prevention of new HIV infections and continued care for OVC and their caregivers and expand access to core services. The expected results of the Activity include: Strengthened and sustained identification, retention, and viral suppression of children and adolescents with HIV, along with their caregivers, Improved health, prospects, and reduced risk of violence and HIV for highly vulnerable adolescents, and Strengthened prevention and response to violence against children and youth.
