Job Summary
The global health security program at Baylor Uganda works closely with the Ministry of Health, other MDAs, District local governments, and collaborating partners to improve Health Security and Build International Health Regulations Core Capacities in prevention, detection and response to public health threats. The program seeks to engage and maintain a pool of deployable surge volunteers in various temporary assignments and locations across a range of thematic areas to enrich careers while contributing to the Global Health Security Agenda.
Overall Responsibilities
• Under the overall guidance of the Medical logistics officer and working closely with MoH/ government of Uganda counterparts and collaborating partners, the surge volunteer will provide technical assistance to improve the improve/maintain supply chain preparedness for
• Public health emergencies including supply chain – visibility into both demand and supply. S/he will establish/maintain collaborative networks involving local, subnational and national stakeholders and liaise with other programs and departments
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or any health-relevant course with professional qualifications in CIPS’.
• 2 Years Relevant Experience
