Job Summary
The Digital Health Advisor is a full-time position based in Kampala. They will be responsible for strengthening the overall national health information system, including collection, analysis, and use of routine health data. They will also be responsible for stakeholder engagement in order to clearly articulate the technical approaches of MRA and the MOH HIS approaches to them. They will report to the Director Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning.
Responsibilities
• Lead MRA digital health activities, ensuring they are coordinated according to approved scopes of work, work plans, MOH and USAID digital health strategies.
• Experience with adult training approaches and excellent workshop facilitation skills to support local capacity development.
• Excellent interpersonal and people management skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with host country counterparts, USAID, MOH personnel, consultants, other donors and international organizations, and program colleagues. A team player but also able to work independently and to manage tasks on a daily basis with minimal supervision; and
• Ability to travel within Uganda as required by the position.
